Remedial Massage is traditional manual therapy based on modern scientific understanding of how the body functions or dysfunctions, in our daily activities and in the sports environment.

Remedial massage works to strengthen and balance the soft tissues: muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia - which support and move the skeleton.

This helps to ensure that the right muscles are doing the right work. In conjunction with mobilization and other techniques, it helps to lengthen the spine, giving upward lift and direction, and keeps the pelvis, legs and feet working correctly.

Rehabilitative exercises may need to be done on a daily basis between treatments, to speed recovery and improve well-being.
